Where are the most likely places to catch Lyme disease in Belgium?

Based on the information collected by a network of laboratories, we see that the disease is present in almost all districts of the country, with a higher risk in the provinces of Antwerp, Limburg, Flemish Brabant and Luxembourg.

The disease is present throughout the year, but since ticks are most active from spring to autumn, cases of borreliosis are mainly reported from June to October.
